GAIL (India) Limited, the nationโ€™s premier state-owned natural gas company recognized as a Maharatna, has officially announced an invitation for bids regarding a prestigious project. This project involves the meticulous design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a grid-tied rooftop solar PV (photovoltaic) system. Additionally, this initiative includes a comprehensive 5-year Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with a generation guarantee, specifically targeting the KG Basin area.

The contract, set to unfold over an eight-month duration following the issuance of the Letter of Intent (LOI) or Letter of Acceptance (LOA), underscores GAIL’s commitment to bolstering renewable energy infrastructure. Noteworthy is the inclusion of a 5-year AMC, which is scheduled to commence subsequent to a 1-year warranty period post the commissioning of the systems across all designated sites.

In an effort to ensure the integrity and seriousness of the bidding process, GAIL has stipulated a bid security or Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs.3,52,570.00. This measure aims to filter through to secure committed and capable bidders for this critical venture.
