Comprising 264 units of 550-watt-peak monocrystalline photovoltaic solar panels, the system is expected to generate an average annual energy output of 183,680kWh, significantly reducing carbon emissions by around 128 metric tons annually—equivalent to planting 2,150 trees.

Over its 25-year lifespan, the PV system is estimated to save DDVMH up to Php 20 million in electricity expenses. The collaborative initiative underscores the commitment of both organizations to a sustainable energy future and environmental stewardship.

Dr Vivencio Jose P. Villaflor III, Hospital and Medical Director of DDVMH emphasized the hospital’s dedication to clean energy sources, while EEI Power’s General Manager Salvador M. Salire, Jr. expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to this environmentally friendly venture with a reputable healthcare institution.

DDVMH, a private 100-bed tertiary hospital and part of the Mount Grace Hospitals, Inc. network, is recognized for its adherence to the latest healthcare standards and commitment to professional patient care.
