In a significant move towards boosting solar power infrastructure, the Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) has officially opened bids for a comprehensive solar power project in Dabhota, Nalaghar, Himachal Pradesh. Interested parties are invited to partake in this competitive e-tendering process, aimed at the design, supply, construction, and long-term maintenance of a 9 MW (AC) solar power initiative. This opportunity is available to both national and international bidders, adhering to the specified eligibility criteria.
The project encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities for the successful bidder, extending from land development to the seamless operation of grid-interactive solar PV power plants. The contract mandates an eight-year operation and maintenance commitment post-completion. Essential duties include, but are not limited to, engineering design, material procurement, testing, transportation, installation, and integration with the state’s electricity grid. The procurement process follows a single-stage, two-envelope bidding procedure to ensure transparency and fairness.
A bid security (Earnest Money Deposit) of INR 1.05 Crore is required to participate, alongside a non-refundable tender fee of INR 10,000, inclusive of GST. The sale of tender documents commenced on March 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM and will be available for download until April 12, 2024, at 1:00 PM. The final deadline for bid submission is set for April 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
This initiative not only highlights HPPCL’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions but also presents a lucrative opportunity for firms specializing in solar power projects to contribute to Himachal Pradesh’s green energy landscape.
