MAHAPREIT, the Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology entity, is seeking proposals to appoint a project management consultant for renewable energy initiatives in Goa.
The assignment encompasses crafting comprehensive project reports for 30 MW rooftop solar projects on government premises and setting up electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at 30 sites across Goa. The stipulated timeframe for completion is 12 months.
Bid submission deadline is April 3, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for the same day.
The chosen consultant will be responsible for conducting site assessments, system design, cost estimation, and financial viability analysis. Furthermore, they will offer advisory services for bids, aid in finalizing project specifications, draft bid documents, and assist in bid evaluations. The consultant will also be responsible for project and compliance management, as well as performance testing and commissioning of renewable energy systems.
Bidders must pay ₹10,000 + 18% GST for the bid document and an earnest money deposit of ₹2.5 lakh. Eligible bidders should have an average annual turnover of ₹2.5 crore over the preceding three fiscal years, along with a positive net worth. They must have prior experience in similar projects and possess expertise in engineering, policy, and business aspects related to decentralized solar power and EV charging infrastructure. Presence in Goa, with staff proficient in local languages like Konkani and Marathi, is also mandatory.
The selected bidder is prohibited from hiring individuals who were previously contracted with MAHAPREIT. Additionally, subcontracting or outsourcing any project aspect to agencies designated by MAHAPREIT is not allowed, nor is the subletting of assigned tasks. Failure to disclose such affiliations may result in contract termination.
