RUMSL Invites Bids for 170 MW Solar Project in Neemuch Solar Park

The Renewable Energy Management Centre (RUMSL) has issued a tender for the supply of a 170 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project to be established in the Neemuch Solar Park located in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh. This initiative aims to bolster renewable energy infrastructure in the region, contributing to sustainable power generation and reducing carbon emissions.

The procurement of tender documents began on April 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM RTZ and will conclude on June 7, 2024, at 4:00 PM RTZ. Domestic as well as international bidders can access the tender documents online through the official portal at bharat-electronictender.com. The cost for the tender documents is set at INR 295,000 for both domestic and international bidders.

Interested parties are invited to attend the pre-bid meeting, scheduled for May 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM RTZ, although attendance is optional. Queries related to the tender documents can be addressed until the last date for receipt of bids, which is also June 7, 2024, at 5:00 PM RTZ. Bids must be submitted online through the designated portal.

The tender opening event (TOE) will take place on June 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM RTZ, and will be conducted online via the same portal. Additionally, a non-refundable ETS bidding fee of INR 15,000 (excluding GST) is applicable, to be paid to the Electronic Tendering Service (ETS) provider. However, no ETS bidding-deposit conditionally-refundable (ETS BD-CR) is required for this tender.

This initiative underscores the commitment of RUMSL towards fostering renewable energy development and signifies a significant step towards achieving energy sustainability goals in Madhya Pradesh.
