Central Electricity Board Invites Bids For 15MWac Photovoltaic Farm Consultancy Services In Mauritius

The Central Electricity Board (CEB) of Mauritius has announced an invitation for bids, under the authority of Section 16 of the Public Procurement Act 2006, to procure consultancy services for the implementation of a 15MWac Photovoltaic Farm. The procurement reference number is OAB-CPR-2024-6011.

Invitation Details:

• Nature of Bidding: Open Advertised Bidding
• Scope: Consultancy services are sought to act as an Independent Engineer in overseeing the implementation of the photovoltaic farm project.
• Eligible Bidders: International Consultancy Firms or Consultancy Firms of Mauritian Nationals or Entities incorporated in Mauritius are eligible to submit proposals.
• Bid Document: The bid document is available for free download from the CEB’s website.
• Submission Deadline: Bids must be submitted on or before Wednesday, May 22, 2024, by 13:30hrs (Mauritian Time). Electronic bidding is not permitted, and late bids will be rejected.
• Submission Address: Bids, clearly marked with the procurement reference number, should be addressed to the Chairman of the Tender Committee and either deposited in the Tender Box at the CEB office in Curepipe or sent by registered post or Courier Service.
• Bid Opening: Bids will be opened on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 13:45hrs (Mauritian Time) in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the CEB office in Curepipe.

The Central Electricity Board retains the right to accept or reject any bid and to annul the bidding process at any time before the contract award without incurring liability to any bidder.
