Vikram Solar Lands 250 MW Module Supply Order for Gujarat’s Renewable Energy Park

Vikram Solar, a key player in India’s solar module manufacturing industry, has announced securing a significant 250 MW order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL). The company has received the Letter of Intent (LoI), marking a crucial step forward in bolstering Indiaโ€™s solar energy capacity and contributing to the country’s solar goals.

The high-efficiency solar panels included in this deal are listed on the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), ensuring compliance with top industry standards. This collaboration is expected to significantly boost the solar energy infrastructure in Gujarat.

As per the agreement, Vikram Solar will produce, test, and deliver high-efficiency, bifacial solar PV modules that range from a minimum capacity of 540Wp to a maximum of 570Wp. These modules are set to be installed at the MW RE Park located in Village Khavda, in the vast landscape of the Great Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.
