IndianOil Releases Tender for 755 kW Grid-Interactive Solar Photovoltaic Systems

IndianOil Invites bids for Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 755 kWp Grid-Interactive Rooftop & Ground-Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Systems (Excluding Battery Backup) Across Various Locations of WRPL.

The bid submission deadline for online bids is May 23, 2024. With bid opening scheduled for the next day.

Bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs: ₹ 3,94,700/-

The deadline for completing all tasks across all locations is set at 7 months from the date of Site Clearance approval provided by the EIC via a specific Notice. This Notice will be issued within 1 month from the date of LOA.

Please note that 70% of the total consideration will be categorized as supply and subject to a 12% GST rate, while the remaining 30% will be classified as services and subject to an 18% GST rate. Purchase Orders will be generated accordingly.

Bidders also need to submit Performance Security/Initial Security Deposit (ISD)/Security Deposit (SD) of 2.5% of the Nominal Contract Value, payable at the time of contract signing. Alternatively, the option to submit a full Security Deposit equivalent to 10% of the nominal contract value is available.

Bidder Minimum Annual Turnover (based on standalone financials of the bidding entity) in any of the last three preceding financial years, i.e., FY 2021-22, 2022-23, and 2023-24, should be ₹ 2.36 crore.

The bidder must have successfully executed similar work, either as a main contractor or subcontractor, within the past 7 years up to the last day of the month preceding the bid submission deadline. The evaluation of completed work will be based on the following criteria:

(a) One similar completed work, with a value not less than ₹ 1.97 crore incl. GST. or,

(b) Two similar completed works, each with a value not less than ₹ 1.57 crore incl. GST. or,

(c) Three similar completed works, each with a value not less than ₹ 1.18 crore incl. GST.

The bidder must demonstrate prior experience as the main contractor or subcontractor for the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Grid-Interactive/Off-grid Solar Photovoltaic Systems under a single contract within the past 7 years up to the last day of the month preceding the bid submission deadline.
