President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt recently hosted Vice President Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue of Equatorial Guinea and his ministerial delegation in Cairo.

During the meeting, Vice President Mangue delivered a letter from Equatorial Guinea’s President, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, expressing deep appreciation for Egypt and extending an invitation for President El-Sisi to visit Equatorial Guinea. President El-Sisi warmly welcomed the invitation, expressing Egyptโ€™s commitment to support Equatorial Guinea’s development efforts and strengthen bilateral relations.

Vice President Mangue highlighted his visitโ€™s agenda, including meetings with Egyptโ€™s prime minister and various ministers to discuss enhancing economic cooperation and trade relations. He commended Egyptโ€™s impressive development progress, underscoring its positive impact on the African continent.

President El-Sisi reaffirmed Egyptโ€™s dedication to expanding cooperation with African nations, emphasizing opportunities for joint investments between private sectors. Egyptian companies are poised to contribute expertise in Equatorial Guinea’s priority sectors such as infrastructure, urban development, energy, transportation, and healthcare.
