Ladakh Administration Invites E-Tender for 2.628 MW Grid-Connected or Hybrid Solar Power Plants on Government Buildings

The Office of the Chief Engineer Generation Wing LPDD, Union Territory of Ladakh, has issued an e-tender invitation on behalf of the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. The e-tender, announced for eligible and approved contractors registered with UT Ladakh, CPWD, and other state/central government bodies to submit bids for a significant renewable energy project.

The project involves the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of grid-connected or hybrid solar photovoltaic power plants on government buildings in the Kargil district of UT Ladakh. The total capacity of the project is 2.628 MW, and it includes a comprehensive maintenance contract (CMC) for five years to ensure sustained efficiency and performance of the solar systems.

The estimated cost for the entire project, inclusive of freight and insurance and all applicable taxes, is approximately Rs 19.173 crore. Prospective bidders are required to submit a tender fee of Rs 25,000 and an earnest money deposit of Rs 25 lakh.

The detailed tender document, which includes terms and conditions, the Bill of Quantities, and other pertinent details, is available for interested parties. The deadline for bid submission is set for July 15, 2024, at 18:00 hours. The opening of commercial and technical bids is scheduled for July 19, 2024, at 14:00 hours.
