The Environment Public Authority, in collaboration with the European Union Delegation to Kuwait and the European-Gulf Cooperation Project, hosted a symposium titled โKuwaitโs Sustainable Future: Collaborative Solutionsโ on June 26.
The symposium focused on renewable energy sources and efficient energy utilization, gathering experts, policymakers, diplomats, researchers, and stakeholders to discuss Kuwaitโs sustainability goals.
Samira Al-Kandari, Director of the General Authority of the National Development Agency, highlighted Kuwait’s commitment to partnering with the European Union to enhance technological diversity and promote efficient energy solutions. The Kuwaiti Ambassador to the European Union, Anstinen, reaffirmed the EU’s support in helping Kuwait achieve its 2030 renewable energy targets through collaborative efforts.
The symposium facilitated the exchange of best practices and expertise in green transformation and economic diversification strategies, aligning with Kuwait Vision 2035 and strengthening bilateral ties between Kuwait and Europe.
