Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has issued an invitation for sealed bids from eligible bidders to supply approximately 2,000 MW of Single Phase Solar Inverters across India. The tender, conducted on a domestic competitive bidding basis under secured e-procurement procedures, aims to establish an Annual Rate Contract.
The bidding process, known as Single Stage Two Envelope Bidding, requires prospective bidders to comply with detailed Qualifying Requirements outlined in the Bidding Documents available on EESL’s e-procurement portal and other specified government platforms.
Key Details:
- Scope of Work: The contract involves the design, manufacture, testing, and supply of Single Phase Solar Inverters as per specified Technical Specifications.
- Completion Period: The Letter of Acceptance (LOA)/Notice of Award (NOA) will remain valid for 12 months from issuance, with fixed pricing throughout the contract period.
- Bidding Timeline: Bids, comprising both soft and hard copies, must be submitted by August 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM (IST). Bid opening for the first envelope is scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM (IST).

- Pre-bid Meeting: A pre-bid meeting will be held as per details provided in the Invitation for Bids (IFB) on EESL’s portal.
- Document/Tender Fee: Interested parties must pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 25,000/-.
- Bid Security/EMD: Bidders are required to submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) package-wise, with amounts specified for each package.
