Reservoir Link Energy Bhd (RLEB) has announced a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between its wholly owned subsidiary, Founder Energy Sdn Bhd (FESB), and MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd (MNPTSB). The MOU sets the stage for collaboration in the renewable energy sector, including solar, biogas, and biomass projects throughout Malaysia and potentially other ASEAN countries.

Under the MOU, FESB and MNPTSB will work together to explore, identify, and develop potential projects. The agreement emphasizes the exchange of information, proposal of specific actions, and the implementation of technical expertise to secure and undertake these projects. The MOU is effective for two years, expiring on September 11, 2026, with the option for extension by mutual agreement.

MNPTSB, incorporated in Malaysia in 2012, specializes in substation engineering services and solutions. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MN Holding Berhad. The collaboration is expected to positively impact RLEB’s earnings, though it will not immediately affect the company’s share capital or financial structure.
