Sungrow, a global leader in PV inverter and energy storage solutions, made a powerful impact at the Renewable Energy India Expo (REI 2024) from 3rd to 5th October 2024, showcasing its latest innovations in renewable energy. Held in Hall 14, Booth R1066, Sungrow presented cutting-edge products tailored to meet the diverse demands of India’s rapidly growing solar market, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the country’s transition to clean energy.
During the expo, Sungrow introduced its SG150CX Inverter, a high-efficiency string inverter ideal for commercial and industrial applications. With a 48A MPPT input current, the SG150CX integrates larger PV modules while incorporating AFCI 3.0 technology for enhanced operational safety, and real-time DC terminal temperature monitoring to ensure optimal reliability. The inverter’s intelligent fault detection system and string-level protection capabilities make it a top choice for the evolving Indian solar landscape.
For the residential market, Sungrow launched the RS-L and RT-P2 series, offering a comprehensive range of single-phase and three-phase PV inverters. These solutions provide high-performance technology designed for both utility-scale and rooftop installations, fostering the growth of distributed solar power across India.
Sungrow’s S2000S-SA 2kW micro inverters cater to the rising demand for efficient residential solar systems. Built with heat resistance for stable power generation even in extreme conditions, these inverters feature Wi-Fi technology for long-distance communication and module-level IV scan for precise fault diagnosis, ensuring optimized system maintenance and performance.
For utility-scale projects, Sungrow unveiled the SG320HX-20 string inverter, delivering a powerful 352kVA AC output to boost yields and reduce CAPEX. Its IP66 protection and C5 anti-corrosion capability ensure it performs reliably in harsh environments, making it ideal for large-scale solar installations.
Sungrow also introduced its advanced energy storage solutions to address India’s growing grid support needs. The ST5015UX with PCS offers intelligent temperature control, multi-level water and fire protection, and pack-level fault monitoring, providing a robust solution for India’s evolving grid demands. Additionally, the ST500 CP series is designed for versatile use, offering wireless connectivity and intelligent EMS storage control, making it suitable for both utility and commercial applications.
Harendra Tomar, Senior Manager – Business Development and Namit Aneja, Leader Key Account (Battery, Energy & Storage Systems), were present at the expo, representing the company and highlighting its latest innovations. Harendra Tomar emphasized the importance of bringing innovative solutions to support India’s growing renewable energy sector, stating, “Our goal is to provide scalable, efficient technologies that help businesses and consumers contribute to India’s clean energy transition.”
