The 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Climate Change Convention began on November 11th in Baku, Azerbaijan. The conference aimed to discuss how to fairly distribute climate funds so they can help countries shift to low-carbon economies and build resilience against climate change.
As a global leader in clean energy and sustainability, LONGi took part in COP29 to push for energy fairness through green innovation. This is LONGi’s sixth year in a row participating in the event, continuing its strong commitment to sustainable development and fighting climate change.
On November 15th, LONGi, in partnership with Deeprock Group, held an event called “SOLAR FOR ALL โ The Key to Tackling Climate Change: Green Innovation Accelerates Just Energy Transition” at the “Biosphere 3” Solutions Pavilion in the Blue Zone of COP29. The event highlighted LONGi’s latest advancements in clean energy technology and progress on various projects.
LONGi also took part in a roundtable discussion with key organizations like UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, the China Electricity Council, GEIDCO, the World Economic Forum, and others. During the forum, LONGi shared its approach to “Energy Equity” and discussed ways to support climate-vulnerable regions in building stronger climate resilience.
