Bridgeway Power Services Pvt. Ltd. has successfully completed a 1.34 MW solar power project in Bhiwadi under the KUSUM Yojna. The project, which started in September 2024, was completed in just three months, demonstrating the company’s efficiency and expertise. This accomplishment showcases Bridgeway Power Services’ dedication to promoting sustainable energy solutions and reinforces its position as a leader in the solar industry. The Bhiwadi project highlights the positive impact of solar energy on both farmers and DISCOMs. By utilizing renewable energy through the KUSUM Yojna, the project helps lower electricity costs for agricultural operations and offers a dependable, eco-friendly energy source to the grid.

Ms. Arshi Chadha, Founder & CEO of Bridgeway Power, said in a statement, “This project reflects our dedication to delivering innovative, sustainable solutions that align with the goals of the KUSUM Yojna. The key highlights of the project include its timely completion, as the project was executed on schedule, maintaining high standards of quality and operational efficiency. Under the KUSUM Yojna, the project supports the dual objectives of improving farmers’ livelihoods and reducing DISCOM dependency on traditional power sources. Bridgeway Power Services will also provide comprehensive maintenance and real-time monitoring of the solar plant, ensuring optimal performance and long-term sustainability.

The project integrates agrovoltaic solutions, offering benefits such as water conservation, increased crop yields, better land-use efficiency, and enhanced biodiversity. In terms of environmental impact, the project will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment. Additionally, the project will drive economic upliftment by reducing energy costs for farmers and creating local employment opportunities, further supporting the regional economy.

The project uses an agrovoltaic approach, which is a unique way of using land for both solar energy and farming. The solar panels provide some shade to the crops, creating a better environment for them to grow. This helps conserve water, improves the soil, and increases crop yields. The project also protects local biodiversity, which helps support pollinators and natural pest control, making it a great example of how solar energy and farming can work together in a sustainable way.
