REC Limited Appoints Shri Chandra Sekhar Sakhamuri IAS As Executive Director

REC Limited, a leading public sector company, has announced a change in its senior management. Shri Chandra Sekhar Sakhamuri, an IAS officer from the Tamil Nadu cadre (2011), has been appointed as the Executive Director of the company, effective January 14, 2025.

Shri Sakhamuri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Madras and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from Puducherry University. Before joining REC, he served as the Director of Sericulture in Salem, Tamil Nadu, under the state government.
