Recently, LONGi Green Energy’s second-generation BC technology Hi-MO 9 product (LR8-66HYD) has received the photovoltaic ‘Pacesetter’ Advanced Technology Product Certification from the Third-Party Agency China General Certification (CGC). This certification not only represents a high level of recognition for LONGi’s product performance but also signifies that BC technology has ascended to the next level of innovation.

The LONGi second-generation bifacial modules, boasting an industry-leading conversion efficiency of up to 24.8% and a maximum power output of 670W (conventional size of 2382x1134mm), are at the forefront of the industry. The cell efficiency has reached 26.52%, earning the ‘Frontier Technology Class A’ rating. BC technology employs an unobstructed ‘full light capture’ approach, working like a lens to focus sunlight and convert every ray into electrical energy—achieving ‘zero waste’ in ultimate efficiency. Under equal lighting conditions, it transforms even more solar energy into electrical energy, resulting in surplus power generation benefits for the users.

The receipt of an A+ grade in the comprehensive maturity level assessment from CGC is a powerful acknowledgement of the technological prowess of Hi-MO 9. During the testing process, the product underwent rigorous and standardized assessment, excelling in performance and reliability, and reaching the pinnacle of industry standards. This fully reflects LONGi Green Energy’s profound expertise in the BC technology domain and the enduring commitment to innovation, excellence, and the pursuit of superior value.
