The renewed MoU, signed on Friday by Indiaโ€™s Power Secretary Pankaj Agarwal and Denmarkโ€™s Ambassador to India Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, builds on the momentum of a five-year cooperation framework initially signed on June 5, 2020. Though the original agreement was set to expire in 2025, the early renewal underscores both nationsโ€™ commitment to uninterrupted collaboration in clean energy development.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Power, the agreement facilitates continued dialogue, joint initiatives, and policy-level cooperation to promote sustainable energy solutions. It also highlights a focus on enhanced knowledge sharing through expert exchanges, joint training programs, and study tours.

Officials from both sides noted that the renewed pact reflects a shared vision for accelerating the global green energy transition and deepening bilateral efforts in renewable energy innovation and deployment.
