GoodWe placed sustainability at the heart of its strategy and appointed Rob Van Gestel as ESG Representative for Europe during its ESG event at this yearโs Intersolar exhibition in Munich. The program was opened by Dr. Kenan Zhang, Director of GoodWeโs Sustainable Development Research Institute, who provided an overview of the companyโs sustainability approach.

We offer a comprehensive approach to sustainability, maintaining a compliant supply chain, certifying the carbon footprint of our products and further improving on production and operation practices.โ
He also outlined that the initial steps for the European team would involve training colleagues across all countries to ensure a unified understanding, along with providing relevant information to share with customers. Additionally, ongoing initiatives include transitioning to paperless marketing activities and raising awareness about Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions within EU operations.
