Juniper Green Energy Appoints Ankush Malik As New CEO To Lead Its Next Phase Of Growth

Juniper Green Energy has announced the appointment of Ankush Malik as its new Chief Executive Officer. With more than 15 years of experience in the power sector, Ankush brings a strong background in leadership, strategic planning, and industry knowledge. He has been closely associated with the company’s growth since November 12, 2018, and was appointed to the Board as Chief Operating Officer on April 30, 2024. His contributions have been instrumental in driving Juniper Green Energy’s efforts to provide clean and sustainable energy solutions.

In his new role as CEO, Ankush Malik will be responsible for guiding the company’s long-term growth plans and overseeing all key functions, including operations, business and project development, construction, and regulatory affairs. His appointment comes at a significant time in Juniper Green Energy’s journey, as the company seeks to expand its footprint and strengthen its role in India’s dynamic renewable energy landscape.

Ankush is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. Prior to joining Juniper Green Energy, he held leadership roles at Orange Renewable Power and also gained valuable experience at ICICI Bank and Lanco Infratech. His deep understanding of business development, regulatory frameworks, and operational strategy makes him well-positioned to lead the company into its next phase of growth.
