Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Emerges L1 Bidder for 225 MW Solar Project in Gujarat

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector, has announced a major milestone with its emergence as the lowest (L1) bidder for a 225 MW (AC) solar project in Gujarat. The contract, awarded on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis, comes from a leading Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) developer.

This development marks SWREL’s first domestic order for FY26 and underscores the company’s growing dominance in India’s renewable energy landscape, particularly in Gujarat. The project is a significant addition to SWREL’s EPC portfolio and further strengthens its position as a reliable partner for large-scale solar installations in the country.
