A high-level delegation from Masdar, led by CEO Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, recently visited several Terra-Gen project sites in California, encompassing wind, solar, and battery storage facilities.
Terra-Gen, LLC—one of the largest independent and integrated renewable energy producers in the United States—is co-owned by Masdar. The site visits aim to strengthen technical alignment between the partners, explore avenues for scaling up innovation, and assess operational synergies across the portfolio.
The visit underscores Masdar’s strategic commitment to advancing its global clean energy goals, including its ambition to achieve 100GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
“These engagements are vital for driving collaboration, accelerating innovation, and ensuring that our projects remain at the forefront of the global energy transition,” said Masdar in an official statement.
The California visits mark another step forward in Masdar’s mission to expand its presence in the U.S. market and contribute meaningfully to global decarbonization efforts.
