Data centers, which are critical for any AI ecosystem, consume vast amounts of electricity. The increased demand for electricity supply puts on a strain on the grids. This is where TrinaSolar steps in. It has delivered net-zero computing hub powered by solar, wind, and storage in an extreme weather region. By generating 10 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, the site has managed to reduce carbon emissions by 8,000 tonnes per year. “Trina’s Vertex modules address the critical energy challenge facing hyperscale data center operators in securing stable, reliable baseload power for AI computing workloads that consume electricity at unprecedented scales,” said Eric Cao, Vice President of Trinasolar North American PV Business.
