Sungrow, a global provider of photovoltaic (PV) inverters and energy storage systems, showcased its latest residential, commercial and industrial (C&I), and utility-scale energy solutions at All-Energy Australia 2026, held in Melbourne on October 28–29. The company’s portfolio highlighted technologies designed to support Australia’s transition towards a smarter, more resilient and sustainable energy future.
The showcase featured next-generation residential battery systems, flexible C&I energy storage solutions and advanced utility-scale technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency, grid stability and renewable energy integration.
PowerHarbour: Advancing Residential Energy Independence
Sungrow introduced its PowerHarbour residential energy storage solution to the Australian market, addressing growing demand for intelligent, safe and scalable home battery systems.
PowerHarbour features a scalable architecture supporting capacities of up to 120 kWh, with flexible combinations of 7 kWh and 10 kWh battery modules compatible with Sungrow’s SHT and SHRS systems. The PowerHarbour Pro variant also incorporates an integrated electric vehicle charger designed to support future vehicle-to-everything (V2X) applications.
The system incorporates AFCI 3.0 protection to enhance electrical safety, while its streamlined architecture is designed to simplify installation and improve system integration.
Built around Sungrow’s “Triple W” value proposition — Win More, Waste Less, Work Faster — PowerHarbour combines flexible storage capacity, intelligent energy management and user-friendly design to support evolving household energy requirements.
C&I Solutions: Flexible Energy Storage for Australian Conditions
For the commercial and industrial segment, Sungrow demonstrated its PowerKeeper energy storage solution, highlighting its durability, water-submersion resilience, state-of-charge (SOC) stability and IP66 protection.
Paired with the SH110CX inverter, PowerKeeper offers modular scalability from 100 kWh to 1 MWh and supports PV and storage integration using existing cabling and meters. The solution features 10 maximum power point trackers (MPPTs), a 2.0 DC/AC ratio and advanced algorithms to improve energy conversion and system management.
Additional capabilities include one-tap setup, real-time monitoring, AI-powered self-diagnosis and Safe 7 Tech. The system supports multiple applications, including peak shaving, self-consumption optimisation, virtual power plant (VPP) participation and Frequency Control Ancillary Services (FCAS).
Sungrow also showcased its PowerStack 255CS energy storage solution, rated at 110 kW/257 kWh. The system delivers up to 98.5% DC/AC conversion efficiency and incorporates three-level overcurrent protection and a liquid-cooled architecture to enhance operational safety and reliability.
With FCAS capabilities, PowerStack 255CS is designed to support businesses participating in Australia’s evolving energy market.
Utility-Scale Technologies: Strengthening Grid Resilience
In the utility-scale segment, Sungrow presented full-scale demonstrations of its PowerTitan 3.0 energy storage system and 1+X modular inverter, targeting the requirements of large-scale renewable energy developers and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies.
PowerTitan 3.0 integrates a 1.8 MW power conversion system (PCS) with 7.14 MWh of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries within a compact 20-foot container. Its fully liquid-cooled design is intended to enhance system safety and longevity, while noise levels below 65 dBA and intelligent grid-forming capabilities support operations under both strong and weak grid conditions.
Complementing the storage system, Sungrow’s 1+X modular inverter features DC-coupled grid-forming capabilities, fast control response and an operations and maintenance approach optimised for one-hour servicing. The modular design is intended to enable faster deployment and commissioning while improving maintenance efficiency.
Sungrow stated that these technologies are supported by its local project management capabilities, grid expertise and technical services. The company also highlighted a growing project pipeline exceeding 10 GW across Australia and New Zealand.
