Sterlite Electric Ltd, formerly known as Sterlite Power Transmission Limited and a global leader in the cable and conductor industry, has announced that it secured orders worth ₹1,500 crore during the first quarter of FY 2025-26. The strong opening to the fiscal year reflects sustained demand for the company’s advanced conductors, power cables, and Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) products across domestic and international markets.
The new orders cover critical infrastructure requirements, including high-performance conductors for green energy corridors, advanced medium and high-voltage power cables, Medium Voltage Covered Conductor (MVCC), and OPGW for digital-ready grids. The company has also received contracts for reconductoring and uprating existing transmission systems from prominent state utilities.
Sterlite Electric’s international business continues to gain momentum, with consistent exports to markets in Latin America (LATAM), the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
