Bondada Engineering Ltd Achieves Nationwide Solar Milestone With 78.3 MW Commissioned Projects

Bondada Engineering Limited (BEL) has achieved a major milestone in support of India’s National Renewable Energy Mission by successfully commissioning 78.3 MW of solar power projects for leading Independent Power Producers (IPPs) including NLC, Paradigm IT, and Mahagenco. The projects span multiple locations across Hingoli, Dhule, and Pathardi in Maharashtra, Neyveli in Tamil Nadu, and Amaravati, as of September 30, 2025.

This accomplishment represents a significant contribution to India’s clean energy goals, advancing the country’s pursuit of a sustainable and low-carbon energy future. The achievement is particularly noteworthy given the severe challenges posed by one of the heaviest monsoon seasons in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu this year, which caused site inundations and operational difficulties across the projects.

Despite these obstacles, Bondada’s Solar Division, known as the Green Warriors, demonstrated exceptional commitment and teamwork to complete all projects on schedule. The team navigated flooded terrains, unpredictable weather, and logistical constraints, reflecting the company’s resilience and its culture of “engineering against the odds.”

Dr. Bondada Raghavendra Rao, Chairman & Managing Director, Bondada Engineering Limited, said in a statement, “This milestone stands as a tribute to the unwavering spirit of our Green Warriors, who continued their mission even when the odds were stacked against them. Commissioning 78.3 MW of solar capacity in the middle of one of the most intense monsoons reflects not just our technical strength, but our shared belief in a sustainable and greener tomorrow ‘Against Today’s Weather, For a Better Tomorrow with fairer Weather’ truly defines the essence of this achievement.”

The newly commissioned solar projects are expected to significantly enhance India’s renewable energy generation capacity and contribute to national climate resilience objectives. Through these initiatives, Bondada Engineering continues to advance a vision where sustainable infrastructure development and environmental stewardship go hand in hand.
