The entry into solar rooftops is part of Crompton’s broader strategy to expand its total addressable market from ₹75,000–1 lakh crore to ₹2 lakh crore. Combined with its solar pumps business, the solar rooftops segment represents a significant opportunity of ₹40,000–50,000 crore, which Crompton aims to capture through its strong brand reputation and widespread distribution network. The company has already built substantial momentum, with large orders and a robust pipeline in the solar pumps segment.
