TotalEnergies and Data4, a leading European data center company, have entered into a long-term agreement to supply renewable electricity to Data4’s facilities in Spain. The contract, which will begin in January 2026 and run for ten years, covers a total volume of 610 gigawatt-hours (GWh). Under this agreement, TotalEnergies will provide renewable power generated from wind and solar farms in Spain, representing an installed capacity of about 30 megawatts (MW), which are set to begin production soon.

This collaboration highlights TotalEnergies’ growing role as a key energy partner for major industrial players worldwide, helping them transition to cleaner and more sustainable power sources. By providing “Clean Firm Power,” TotalEnergies ensures a stable and predictable renewable energy supply that matches the continuous energy demand of Data4’s operations.

As one of Europe’s leading data center developers and operators, Data4 is currently present in six countries and has announced plans to invest nearly €2 billion by 2030 to expand its Spanish campuses. The agreement with TotalEnergies aligns with Data4’s strategy to integrate renewable energy across all its sites, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency in the rapidly growing data industry.
