This session focused on scaling solar and storage integration to strengthen Zambia’s grid infrastructure. Panelists including Mr. Will Dryer (Western Solar Power), Mr. Emmanuel Sakwanda (Grid Transmission Limited), Ms. Kumoyo Vibetti (SIAZ), and Eng. Finance and investment leaders from Stanbic Bank Zambia, First National Bank, GridX Africa, and Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) discussed innovative financing mechanisms to unlock capital for solar projects across utility, C&I, and off-grid segments.

This discussion highlighted how solar solutions can uplift communities, enable rural electrification, and support small businesses.
