KPI Green Energy Limited has announced a strategic partnership with Inox Solar Limited to jointly develop 2.5 GW of solar and hybrid renewable energy projects across multiple Indian states. The agreement marks a major collaboration aimed at accelerating India’s clean energy transition and expanding national renewable capacity.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), KPI Green Energy will oversee project development, land acquisition, statutory approvals, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) activities. Inox Solar, part of the INOXGFL Group, will supply solar modules and support project commissioning.
The alliance combines KPI’s on-ground project execution expertise with Inox Solar’s manufacturing and technology strengths, positioning both companies to undertake large-scale renewable deployments with greater efficiency.
KPI Green Energy CMD Dr. Faruk G. Patel said the partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to building integrated renewable energy assets nationwide. He added that combining KPI’s development capabilities with Inox Solar’s technology will create a strong platform for high-quality solar and hybrid project delivery.
INOXGFL Group’s Group CEO–Renewables Kailash Tarachandani noted that the collaboration brings together engineering depth, manufacturing reliability, and proven execution experience, enabling both companies to execute complex renewable projects confidently.
The 2.5 GW pipeline is expected to support India’s ambitious renewable energy targets while contributing to job creation, local manufacturing, and technological advancement.
The partnership is projected to play a key role in strengthening India’s renewable energy ecosystem as demand for solar and hybrid power continues to grow.
