Becsa SL Series, India’s most Aesthetic and Practical Solar Module for Houses and Residential Towers, Launched by Becquer

Becsa, that had launched India’s most materially advanced HJT solar modules having a core cell efficiency exceeding 25.5%, that have gathered an order book of 30 MW in two months itself, has now launched a solar module, that is designed, constructed and made for residential towers and houses, keeping in mind the practical space constraints, current and voltage leakages and handling and shifting issues in congested access points to the roof.With this new design it plans to enter new cities, after achieving a leadership position in Mumbai and Navi mumbai with all branded residential towers, townships and societies.

Given all traditional solar module companies are copy pasting designs from other markets or relabeling them for duty arbitrage in the markets like the US, the Becsa team, consisting of mainly women team members, has been researching and developing the SL Series design for the past 3 years, keeping in mind the various challenges faced by residential customers while installing solar modules. Typically for ground mounted and utility scale projects, bigger modules work fine as the installation sites are accessible, and machinery  support can be used. But for small, congested rooftops, Becsa has kept the module size moderate, to ensure ease of shifting and transportation. As often a bigger module size is wrongly co-related with a higher efficiency as marketed by traditional module OEMs, the SL series is kept at a wattage ranging from 500-550 with a cell efficiency ranging from 22.5% – 23.5% . The frame of the module has also been made thicker with ergonomic holding points to make it easier for the installation workers to deal with the product without causing breakage. It has no voltage or current leakage possibilities from the frame. Last but certainly not the least, it comes with an FSD version, which comes with a quick electrical shutdown feature in case of any emergency.

The SL series can also be incorporated into various other product bodies that need an integrated power source. It is not only the most aesthetic module In the market, or so to say the most good-looking module, it is the most suited, reliable and made for residential applications.
