Constant Energy has entered into a major new partnership with Tongwei Solar, one of the worldโs largest producers of solar PV modules, to supply high-efficiency solar panels for projects across Southeast Asia. This agreement marks an important step for Constant Energy as it continues to expand its network of reliable technology partners and strengthen its role in the regionโs growing renewable energy market.
Through this collaboration, Constant Energy reinforces its reputation as a trusted partner for Chinese manufacturers looking to grow their presence in Southeast Asia. The company has extensive experience working with major Chinese industrial clients in the region and understands the operating standards, cultural expectations, and decision-making processes that guide Chinese corporate systems. This background positions Constant Energy as a dependable bridge between Chinese suppliers and Southeast Asian markets.
Under the new agreement, Constant Energy becomes Tongwei Solarโs first major client in Southeast Asia to purchase solar modules at a large scale. One of the key projects included in the partnership is the 52 MW solar farm in Malaysia, awarded to Constant Energy under the Malaysian governmentโs fifth Large Scale Solar (LSS) programme. This project highlights the capabilities of both companies and their commitment to accelerating renewable energy deployment throughout the region.
Joe Chen, Director of Overseas Module Business at Tongwei Solar, noted that the partnership builds on Tongweiโs fully integrated supply chain, which spans polysilicon production, high-efficiency cell manufacturing, and final module assembly. He explained that this integration allows Tongwei to offer stable production capacity, reliable delivery timelines, and strict quality control at each stage. He also highlighted that the companyโs Meishan production site has been recognized as the worldโs first โLighthouse Factoryโ in the photovoltaic cell sector, setting high standards in automation, digital system management, and manufacturing performance. These strengths, he said, ensure that every module supplied to Constant Energy delivers strong performance and long-term reliability.
Franck Constant, CEO and founder of Constant Energy, emphasized that this agreement represents more than a single procurement deal. According to him, the partnership reflects a broader strategic relationship that began in 2023, when Constant Energy first received panels from Tongwei Solar. Since then, the collaboration has expanded quickly, supported by shared goals, trust, and a mutual dedication to sustainable development. He added that the two companies plan to continue working together on future renewable energy projects in Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam to support industrial growth through clean and affordable energy.
The agreement underscores a broader shift in Southeast Asia toward large-scale adoption of solar power. It also highlights Constant Energyโs leadership in bringing reliable renewable energy solutions to the region, supported by major global partners like Tongwei Solar.Together, both companies aim to advance sustainable industrial development and contribute meaningfully to the regionโs clean energy transition.
