Sunpower Renewables Launches Australian-Engineered Solar Hybrid Inverter–Battery Systems for the Indian Market

Sunpower Renewables Pty Ltd, headquartered in Victoria, Australia, in collaboration with its India partner SunAP Ecopower, has officially unveiled its next-generation Solar Hybrid Inverter–Battery Set System for the Indian market. The launch event, held at The Chancery Pavilion, Bengaluru, marked a significant milestone in strengthening India–Australia cooperation in the clean-energy sector.

The new product range was inaugurated by Hilary McGeachy, Australian Consulate-General, Bengaluru, in the presence of Michelle Wade, Victoria’s Commissioner to South Asia – Global Victoria, and Murray Spence, Trade Commissioner – Austrade. Senior leadership teams from Sunpower Renewables and SunAP Ecopower jointly showcased the technology to industry stakeholders, partners, and clean-energy practitioners.

Engineered in Australia, the Solar Hybrid Inverter–Battery Set System is a fully integrated, plug-and-play energy storage solution designed for on-grid, off-grid, UPS, and hybrid applications. Its versatility makes it ideal for residential rooftops, remote and rural electrification, home and commercial backup, and critical power applications. Equipped with BIS approvals, smart monitoring, Time-of-Day (ToD) optimization, and solar/EV charging capabilities, the system supports both current and emerging energy needs in India.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Rahul Kale, Managing Director, Sunpower Renewables, said “India is entering a decisive decade for energy resilience.
