IAN Partners with DMEGC Solar to Bring High-Efficiency Panels to GCC Markets

IAN, the renewable energy arm of UAE-based AG Holding, has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with China’s DMEGC Solar , marking the company’s first official entry into the GCC market. The partnership aims to tap the GCC’s Dh24 billion (USD 6.53 billion) Solar PV market.

Under the agreement, IAN will serve as the exclusive distributor of DMEGC Solar’s high-efficiency panels across the UAE and other Gulf countries, operating from its Dubai hub. The collaboration strengthens IAN’s renewable energy trading portfolio, which already includes several global solar brands.

Market Outlook
The UAE continues to invest heavily in solar energy as part of its National Energy Strategy 2030, with a Dh198 billion (USD 54 billion) budget. Notable initiatives include the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, targeting 5,000 MW by 2030 with Dh50 billion (USD 13.6 billion) in investment, and Masdar’s 5 GW solar-battery projects worth Dh22 billion (USD 6 billion).

The agreement positions both companies to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy and sustainable technologies across the Gulf region.
