Diamond Power Infrastructure has secured a significant power cable supply order from a solar engineering, procurement, and construction firm. The Ahmedabad-based company received a letter of intent from Hild Projects to supply power cables worth โ‚น661.8 million. The order, scheduled from January 1 to June 30, 2026, follows a kilometre-rate structure with a price variation clause to accommodate changes in material or market costs. Hild Projects, part of Hild Energy, has executed several large-scale solar projects, including a 240 MW NTPC solar plant in Rajasthan and two projects totaling 1,125 MW in Bhuj, Gujarat. Diamond Power manufactures a wide range of cables, including low-voltage, high-voltage, and extra-high-voltage options, as well as specialized solar AC/DC, EV charging, and BESS cables for projects up to 200 kV. Its expanding order book and recent collaboration with US-based TS Conductor underscore the companyโ€™s growing role in supporting Indiaโ€™s renewable energy infrastructure.

In another development, Gujarat-based Ahasolar Technologies has won a consultancy contract for an 875 MW solar project from Coal Indiaโ€™s Rajasthan Akshay Urja subsidiary. The project is part of the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigamโ€™s 2,000 MW Solar Park in Pugal, Bikaner. Ahasolar will provide ownerโ€™s engineering and project management consultancy over 18 months, reviewing and approving EPC contractor designs, specifications, layouts, and construction schedules. The company will supervise on-site activities, verify quality assurance documents, track progress, and ensure compliance with environmental and social safeguards. The work order, valued at โ‚น11.8 million, builds on Ahasolarโ€™s prior experience, including a 107 MW consultancy project for Singareni Collieries.
