Sangam (India) Ltd. has signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) agreement with IB Vogt Solar India Pvt. Ltd. for the development of a 27 MWp solar power project in Rajasthan, marking a significant step in the companyโ€™s renewable energy transition.

The solar project will be developed at Village Sangarh in Fatehgarh Tehsil of Jaisalmer district and is intended for captive consumption. Once commissioned, the plant will supply clean power to Sangam Indiaโ€™s operations, helping the company reduce its dependence on conventional grid electricity and lower its carbon footprint.

Under the agreement, IB Vogt Solar India will be responsible for the complete EPC scope of the project. The installed capacity of the solar plant is planned at 27 MWp, with a permissible variation of up to ยฑ5 percent, subject to technical and site conditions.

The project aligns with Sangam Indiaโ€™s broader strategy to integrate renewable energy into its operations and improve long-term energy cost efficiency, while also supporting Indiaโ€™s national targets for expanding solar power capacity.
