LNK Energy has officially launched as a next-generation integrated clean energy platform with an ambitious initial investment of ₹10,000 crore planned over the next five years. The company aims to contribute to India’s clean energy transition through advanced manufacturing, green fuels, and renewable energy generation. Its first major project is a 6 GW solar cell and module manufacturing facility with integrated ingot and wafer production, spread over 60 acres in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. This facility will focus on producing high-efficiency solar cells and modules using advanced technologies and global best practices, supporting the development of a robust domestic clean energy ecosystem.

The company was co-founded by Paritosh Ladhani, Joint Managing Director of SLMG Beverages; Dr. Kushagra Nandan, Co-Founder, Chairman, and MD of REnergy Dynamics and former MD of SunSource Energy; and Varun Karad, BioEnergy entrepreneur and Co-Founder and CEO of RED. The founders bring decades of experience in large-scale manufacturing, renewable energy, and diversified businesses. They emphasize long-term value creation, scale, technology depth, and disciplined capital allocation in building LNK Energy.

LNK Energy’s strategy focuses on end-to-end participation across the energy value chain, combining manufacturing, green fuels, and renewable power generation. Beyond solar manufacturing, the company plans to produce key ancillary components such as junction boxes, battery platforms, and other energy storage elements. This approach is expected to strengthen India’s clean energy manufacturing base and reduce reliance on imports.

The company also plans to expand into green fuels, particularly Green Hydrogen, to support decarbonization in hard-to-abate sectors. In parallel, LNK Energy aims to develop a renewable energy generation portfolio as an Independent Power Producer and through hybrid open access solutions, integrating storage, solar, and other renewable sources. This integrated approach will allow the company to operate across manufacturing, fuels, and operating assets, creating a comprehensive clean energy platform.

Speaking about the launch, Paritosh Ladhani said that LNK Energy will bring the same scale, quality, and execution discipline that he has applied in large manufacturing and supply-chain businesses to clean energy manufacturing. Dr. Kushagra Nandan emphasized that LNK Energy is designed as a long-term institution aligned with national priorities such as energy security, industrial self-reliance, and decarbonization. Varun Karad added that the future of energy lies in integration, and the company’s structure is designed to deliver reliable, scalable, and sustainable energy solutions for both industry and the economy.
