The updated list introduces new manufacturers, additional models, and expanded production capacities, reinforcing India’s push toward self-reliance in high-efficiency solar technologies. The revision includes the addition of Evervolt Solar Technology India Pvt. Ltd. with an enlisted capacity of 1,074 MW of bifacial mono-c-Si PERC solar cells.

Mundra Solar PV Limited (Adani Group) has received approval for 2,298 MW of N-Type TOPCon bifacial cell models, delivering average efficiencies above 25%, while Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited has added 1,358 MW of N-Type TOPCon capacity, signaling a growing shift toward next-generation cell architectures. Meanwhile, FS India Solar Ventures Private Limited has expanded its enlisted capacity to 3,433 MW, further bolstering India’s domestic manufacturing base.

The revised ALMM List-II highlights a continued transition toward high-efficiency bifacial designs, TOPCon technology, PID-free modules, and higher wattage performance, improving long-term reliability and project economics. It also plays a critical role in preparing developers and manufacturers for mandatory ALMM compliance for solar PV cells, expected to become increasingly stringent in upcoming policy phases.
