KPI Green Energy Limited has announced that its subsidiary, Sun Drops Energia Limited, has secured an international order for a specialized solar and battery storage project in the United Arab Emirates. The contract has been awarded by FVE Lifecare General Trading LLC for the supply, installation, and commissioning of a 33 kWp solar power system combined with a 573 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The integrated solution will support a containerized data centre facility, ensuring a reliable and uninterrupted power supply.
The project includes a complete energy solution with a Battery Management System (BMS) and Energy Management System (EMS) to monitor and control performance. It will also feature a 120 kVA modular UPS system along with the required electrical infrastructure, including cabling and system integration components. Although the company has not disclosed the financial value of the order, it confirmed that the contract has been received as a formal Purchase Order and will be executed as per the agreed project schedule.
This order marks an important step for KPI Green Energy as it expands its presence beyond India and enters the international market. The company said the project highlights its growing expertise in integrated renewable energy and storage solutions, especially in high-growth sectors such as data centres. Data centres require round-the-clock power, and battery storage systems play a key role by storing energy during low-demand periods and supplying it during peak demand or grid outages.
KPI Green Energy also clarified that the transaction does not involve any related party or promoter group interest. The announcement was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015. The company believes this project strengthens its position in the clean energy sector and supports its long-term growth strategy in renewable and storage-based power solutions.
