Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced the incorporation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Middle East Ltd (AREMEL), in the United Arab Emirates. The move marks an important step in the companyโs international expansion strategy and strengthens its presence in the Middle Eastern renewable energy market.
The newly formed entity will focus on power generation through renewable energy sources. As a wholly-owned subsidiary, 100% of AREMELโs shareholding is held by AGEL, ensuring complete ownership and management control by the parent company. The subsidiary has been incorporated with an authorized capital of AED 10,000, and the subscription amount has been paid in cash.
According to the official filing signed by Company Secretary Pragnesh Darji, no specific governmental or regulatory approvals were required for the incorporation of the new entity. The disclosure was made in compliance with the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and in line with the latest master circular guidelines issued in January 2026.
Headquartered at Adani Corporate House in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, AGEL continues to expand its renewable energy portfolio both in India and overseas. The formation of AREMEL reflects the companyโs long-term strategy to grow in global clean energy markets and contribute to sustainable power development.
The company has informed both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited about this development as part of its regulatory disclosure requirements.
