Advait Greenergy has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with CENMAT to collaborate on deploying PEM and AEM electrolyser technologies aimed at scaling green hydrogen and clean energy projects in India.
The agreement was formally exchanged during India Energy Week 2026 held in Goa.
Advait Greenergy, a subsidiary of Advait Energy Transition, said the partnership will combine CENMATโs expertise in electrolyser technology development, system design, and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) with the companyโs experience in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), system integration, and large-scale project execution within the Indian energy market.
Vatsal Kundalia, Managing Director of Advait Greenergy, said the collaboration will focus on project development, technology integration and pilot-to-commercial deployments, with the goal of enabling reliable and scalable hydrogen production systems that support Indiaโs energy transition and industrial decarbonisation goals.
The partnership is expected to accelerate the deployment of green hydrogen infrastructure, which is increasingly seen as a key component of the countryโs strategy to reduce emissions in energy-intensive sectors.
The announcement builds on Advait Greenergyโs earlier investment plans in the clean energy sector. In October 2025, the company signed an MoU with the Government of Gujarat to invest INR 1,400 crore in green energy and infrastructure projects. These initiatives include electrolyser and fuel cell manufacturing facilities, emergency restoration system (ERS) infrastructure, and EPC projects linked to the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).
The collaboration with CENMAT is expected to further strengthen Advait Greenergyโs role in advancing Indiaโs emerging green hydrogen ecosystem.
