OXMIQ Labs, the GPU architecture and artificial intelligence technology company founded by Raja Koduri, has announced a strategic technology partnership with AM Intelligence Labs (AMI Labs) to support the development of large-scale AI compute infrastructure in India.

AMI Labs, a business division of AM Group — the parent company of Greenko — plans to build up to 2 GW of AI compute capability by 2030. The initiative will begin with the development of a 1 GW AI Compute Hub in Noida, located in Uttar Pradesh.

Under the partnership, OXMIQ will serve as the architecture and engineering partner for the platform, providing advisory services on data center and system infrastructure. The company will work with AMI Labs to design the systems architecture, hardware roadmap, and supply chain strategy required to support large-scale AI computing operations.

India is emerging as one of the world’s fastest-growing markets for artificial intelligence adoption and token consumption, driven by its expanding developer ecosystem, digital economy, and increasing enterprise adoption of AI technologies. The development of large-scale AI infrastructure is expected to support the country’s growing demand for high-performance computing resources.

The AI infrastructure initiative is backed by AM Group’s renewable energy capabilities. Through Greenko, the group operates around 50 GW of renewable energy capacity across solar, wind and hydro assets, supported by approximately 100 GWh of intelligent energy storage. The company currently supplies nearly two percent of India’s total power generation.

Development of the flagship AI infrastructure project has already begun, with Phase 1 of the Noida Compute Hub currently under execution. The initial compute capacity is expected to come online by the end of 2027 as part of AM Group’s broader plan to establish one of the world’s largest renewable-powered AI compute platforms.

The planned facility will operate as a vertically integrated platform that combines carbon-free power generation, advanced data center infrastructure, high-performance accelerators, software systems and AI application services. The platform is expected to offer flexible consumption models such as AI Pods-as-a-Service and Tokens-as-a-Service.

OXMIQ will contribute expertise across the entire computing stack, including GPU architecture, advanced semiconductor packaging, rack-scale systems, high-speed interconnects and orchestration software required to run large-scale AI workloads.

According to Anil Chalamalasetty, Group Chairman of AM Group, the collaboration provides AMI Labs with access to deep hardware and systems expertise required to build globally competitive AI infrastructure.

Raja Koduri, Founder and CEO of OXMIQ Labs, said the partnership will allow the AI platform to be designed from the ground up to optimize performance, efficiency and cost, leveraging carbon-free power resources at scale.

The collaboration aims to create a unified system that integrates renewable energy generation, data center architecture, liquid cooling infrastructure, accelerator technologies and workload orchestration to deliver large-scale, cost-efficient AI computing capabilities.
