Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust has successfully raised ₹696.44 crore through a preferential issue of units, marking a significant step in its growth strategy within the energy infrastructure sector.

The company issued 5.95 crore units at ₹117 per unit to a group of investors, with the proceeds aimed at expanding its portfolio of high-quality energy assets. The capital, along with external debt, has been utilized to acquire 12 renewable (solar) assets from Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus and its affiliates.

Strategic Acquisition Boosts Portfolio

The acquired assets, representing a 74% stake, have an enterprise value of approximately ₹2,520 crore. With this transaction, Anzen’s portfolio has expanded to 15 energy assets, spanning both transmission and renewable (solar) segments as of Q4 FY26.

The acquisitions have significantly strengthened Anzen’s asset base, nearly tripling its assets under management (AUM) since its listing in November 2022.

Growth Aligned with Long-Term Vision

The capital raise witnessed participation from a diverse group of investors, including existing unitholders, reflecting confidence in the trust’s long-term growth strategy and stable yield outlook.
