American Clean Power Association Appoints Maggie Kash As Vice President Of Public Relations

American Clean Power Association (ACP) has announced the appointment of Maggie Kash as its new Vice President of Public Relations. In this role, she will lead the organizationโ€™s communication efforts and help strengthen its public messaging around clean energy. Before joining ACP, Kash worked at Google, where she led public affairs related to artificial intelligence and energy.

She also spent more than ten years as Chief of Communications at the Sierra Club, one of the largest environmental organizations in the United States. Earlier in her career, she served as Press Secretary for the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, gaining extensive experience in advocacy and public policy communications.

Artealia Gilliard, ACPโ€™s Chief Communications Officer, welcomed Kash to the team and highlighted her strong background in leading advocacy campaigns and managing fast-paced communications. She noted that Kashโ€™s experience and leadership will help ACP better communicate the importance of affordable, domestically produced clean energy and its role in supporting economic growth.

Kash brings around 20 years of experience working at the intersection of communications, public policy, media, and advocacy. Throughout her career, she has focused on mission-driven work and has developed strategies aimed at influencing policy decisions and encouraging public engagement.

Speaking about her new role, Kash said she is excited to join ACP at an important time for the clean energy sector. She emphasized her interest in helping share how domestic clean energy is contributing to economic strength and supporting communities across the United States. She also expressed her commitment to advancing ACPโ€™s mission and representing the voices of its members. Kash holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
