SolarPower Europe strengthens Its long-term collaboration With Rystad Energy Through A New Prime Market Research Partnership

The association for the solar and energy storage sector in Europe, SolarPower Europe, has announced an important upgrade to its long-standing collaboration with Rystad Energy. The two organisations have worked together for several years, mainly through joint market analysis and studies that support the growth of the European solar industry.

With the launch of a new Prime Market Research Partnership, this relationship is now being significantly strengthened to provide deeper cooperation, expanded analytical support, and improved insights for SolarPower Europe’s research, policy work and member engagement.Rystad Energy is recognised globally as an independent provider of energy research, data and intelligence.

Their expertise supports evidence-based decision-making across international energy markets. Through the enhanced partnership, Rystad Energy will take on a larger role in supplying data analysis, modelling and expert commentary for SolarPower Europe’s main publications. This includes extended analytical coverage of both solar PV and battery storage, ensuring that the association’s reports and policy positions are supported by robust and reliable market intelligence.

The partnership will also enhance collaboration across SolarPower Europe’s wider activities and platforms. Rystad Energy will contribute directly to the association’s membership network by offering insights through exclusive market webinars, joining key industry events, and participating as a Prime Partner within the Battery Storage Europe Platform.

In addition, the two organisations will work closely on the upcoming Solar+ report, which explores the contribution of solar PV to the European Union’s 2030 energy objectives. This new report will be released during the SolarPower Summit 2026.This deeper collaboration arrives at a crucial time for Europe’s clean-energy transition.
