KLK Ventures Secures PM-DevINE Solar Electrification Project to Deploy 3,478 Solar Home Lighting Systems Across Arunachal Pradesh

KLK Ventures has received a partial Letter of Award for a solar home lighting project in Arunachal Pradesh under the Prime Minister’s Development Initiative for North Eastern Region (PM-DevINE) Scheme.

The project involves the design, manufacturing, supply, and installation of solar home lighting systems for off-grid electrification across vibrant border villages and other uncovered habitations under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS). The project will also include annual maintenance support along with warranty and guarantee services for five years.

According to the company, the initiative aims to expand access to clean and reliable energy in remote and geographically challenging regions of Arunachal Pradesh. KLK Ventures stated that the award reflects its capabilities in executing renewable energy infrastructure projects in difficult terrains while maintaining operational quality and reliability.

Under the project scope, KLK Ventures plans to install a total of 3,478 solar home lighting systems across 377 villages and habitations in districts including Anjaw, Dibang Valley, East Kameng, East Siang, Kra Daadi, Lohit, Longding, Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Pakke Kessang, Siang, Tawang, Tirap, Upper Siang, Upper Subansiri, and West Kameng.

Commenting on the development, Akshat Jain, CEO of KLK Ventures, said the award under the PM-DevINE initiative marks a significant milestone for the company and aligns with its commitment to delivering sustainable solar energy solutions for remote communities.

The company stated that the project supports India’s broader clean energy transition and rural development goals by improving energy accessibility and promoting sustainable growth in underserved regions.
