Trinasolar has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Australian distributor Solar Juice to supply 1 GW of Vertex S+ G3 solar modules to the Australian market over the next three years, strengthening support for the country’s expanding rooftop solar sector.
Under the agreement, Solar Juice will distribute Trinasolar’s Vertex S+ G3 module series for residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) rooftop applications, addressing growing demand from installers and EPC companies across Australia.
The supply allocation is expected to include Trinasolar’s newly launched Australia-exclusive Vertex S+ G3 515W module, introduced during the Smart Energy Conference in Sydney. Built on n-type i-TOPCon Ultra technology, the module delivers up to 515W output and 24.7% efficiency within a standard rooftop module footprint, enabling higher energy generation for space-constrained rooftop systems.
According to the company, the module’s low-voltage design allows greater flexibility in inverter configurations and string sizing, helping optimise residential and C&I rooftop installations of up to 100 kW under Australia’s Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (SRES).
The partnership announcement comes as Australia’s rooftop solar market continues to record strong growth. Industry data showed that 442 MW of sub-100 kW rooftop solar capacity was registered nationwide in April 2026, marking the highest monthly level recorded under the country’s Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC) market.
Rami Fedda, Co-founder and Supply Director at Solar Juice, said demand for high-efficiency rooftop solar modules remains strong across both residential and commercial sectors, adding that the agreement would strengthen supply reliability and provide installers with products specifically designed for Australian market conditions.
Edison Zhou, Head of Australia at Trinasolar, said the Australian market remains strategically important for the company due to its advanced rooftop solar sector and strong focus on system optimisation and long-term performance. He noted that the agreement reflects growing confidence in Trinasolar’s rooftop solar technologies and its long-standing partnership with Solar Juice.
Trinasolar’s Vertex S+ series has also received multiple international design recognitions, including the 2025 Red Dot Design Award, the 2025 German Design Award, and the 2024 Good Design Award in Japan, recognising the product line’s efficiency, durability, and rooftop-focused design innovation.
