ACME Solar Holdings Limited Signs 25-Year PPA With Solar Energy Corporation Of India Limited For 300 MW FDRE Project

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited through its subsidiary ACME Renewtech Sixth Private Limited for a 300 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project. The agreement is part of SECI’s FDRE Tranche VII – Assured Peak Power Project and marks another important step in India’s transition towards reliable renewable energy solutions.

The project will involve a 300 MW / 1,200 MWh Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected solar power system. The contract capacity has been slightly revised to 300 MW from the earlier 301 MW mentioned in the Letter of Award to improve overall project configuration and operational efficiency.

Under the terms of the agreement, ACME Solar will provide four hours of assured peak power supply during non-solar hours. The company is also required to maintain a minimum annual availability of 85% throughout the project period. The power generated from the project will be supplied at a fixed tariff of Rs. 6.28 per unit.

The Scheduled Commencement of Supply Date (SCSD) for the project has been fixed as May 28, 2028. The agreement will remain valid for 25 years from the commencement date, ensuring long-term renewable power supply and grid stability.

The project was originally secured by ACME Solar through a competitive bidding process and e-reverse auction conducted on February 2, 2026. Following the successful bid, the company received the Letter of Award on February 10, 2026.

With the signing of this PPA, ACME Solar’s total PPA-signed portfolio has now increased to 6,570 MW out of its overall contracted portfolio of 8,070 MW. The company currently has 3,580 MW of PPA-signed capacity under construction, further strengthening its presence in solar, wind, hybrid, and energy storage solutions across India.
