NBCC (India) Limited, a Navratna Schedule A Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Government of India, has invited percentage fees open e-tenders for appointing reputed architect and consultant firms for providing comprehensive Architectural and Engineering Consultancy services. The consultancy work is related to Phase I installation of an approximately 15,000 KW Rooftop Solar PV Power Plant System at multiple locations within the Bokaro Steel Plant in Bokaro, Jharkhand. The project is being executed on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis for the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Bokaro Steel Plant.
According to the tender document, the total estimated project cost has been fixed at Rs. 59 crore. The consultancy fee quoted by participating firms cannot exceed 0.50 percent of the estimated project cost, inclusive of GST. Based on this limit, the estimated consultancy fee put to tender is around Rs. 29.50 lakh. The selected consultant will be responsible for completing the assigned scope of work within a period of 12 months. In addition, the contract also includes a Defect Liability Period of another 12 months after completion of the work.
The tender notice was officially issued on May 20, 2026. Interested bidders can submit their online bids until 11:00 AM on June 3, 2026. The same date and time have also been fixed as the deadline for submission of physical hard copies of important documents, including the unconditional letter of acceptance and notarized affidavit confirming the correctness of submitted information. These documents must be submitted to the Office of the CGM (Engineering), NBCC (India) Limited, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Technical bids are scheduled to be opened on June 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Meanwhile, the dates for design concept presentations and the opening of financial bids will be informed to technically qualified bidders later. Financial offers submitted by bidders must remain valid for 150 days from the last date of tender submission.
To participate in the tender process, bidders are required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 29,500 either through online payment or in the form of a Bank Guarantee issued by a nationalized or scheduled bank. The Bank Guarantee must remain valid for at least 180 days from the final date of submission. In addition, bidders are also required to pay a non-refundable tender document fee of Rs. 17,700 inclusive of GST. The tender document further states that all bids and supporting documents must be uploaded in PDF format on the designated e-tendering portal using a valid Class-III digital signature certificate.
